Summer Blog 6: Goodbye to Summer

The days are getting shorter, the air is getting colder, and the leaves are changing color, it must be fall! The fall season promises new beginnings and gives us a moment to slow down and reflect. If you missed any of our previous blogs during the busy summer season or while you were disconnecting from the Internet while at the cabin, now is the perfect time to settle in and catch up!

Summer Roundup

This summer we discussed cabin history and shared the origins of cabin building and where we get our inspiration for our traditional, handcrafted cabins. We also reviewed some important cabin safety tips, including how to keep yourself and your pets safe when at the cabin. In another post, we learned how to care for logs and keep your cabin in tip-top condition. In addition to making your logs gleam, we talked about other ways to spruce up the landscaping and property around your cabin. Finally, we divulged the secrets behind some of our favorite cabin recipes, including Dawndi's beloved tournament cookies!

Looking Ahead

Views from a recent project

This summer was full of exciting personal and professional projects for the MMC crew. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks for updates on our projects and what we'll be working on moving forward. In the meantime, leave us a comment with your favorite summer memories from the cabin!
